Amsterdam

Amsterdam is AMAZING!! I loved it and would recommend it over Paris any day. From my experience, there are two versions of the city; one being the infamous red light district, countless sex shops and of course the special brownies and the other being yummy food, tons of flowers and walking or riding bikes everywhere you go. I witnessed both parts of the city and preferred the latter. Don't worry, I will cover both!

De'l europe

Loved this hotel! Great service, best location and clean, modern rooms. It had an older vibe which I prefer. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant, has a decent gym, a library and a couple pianos. If you're going to Amsterdam, I recommend booking here. It is central to everything.

The canal tour

The canals in Amsterdam were built in the 17th century. Crazy! No matter where you are in the city, you can't miss the canals. There are several canal tours, I did a private 70 minute tour and got a history lesson on the whole city. Educational and pretty romantic!

The ice bar

This was pretty cool (no pun intended). The bar provides gloves and jackets and then you basically go drinking in an icebox. Random fun! I didn't last long considering it was 9 degrees Celsius! They only allow about 20 people at a time, so be prepared to wait in line!
