For those of you that follow my Twitter or Instagram, you are probably aware of the fact that I flew into LA to attend the Glamour Women of the Year Summit a couple days ago. It has been 2 days since the Summit and I can honestly say that I am still on fire! That is how powerful and inspirational the event was!

The Summit was held at the NueHouse in Hollywood. It kicked off with a breakfast (which was amazing! Organic, healthy and fresh!) featuring female olympians. The afternoon included tons of amazing and powerful speakers like, the President of the IMF, Christine Lagarde, Marissa Mayer the CEO of Yahoo and Lena Dunham from the show Girls, to name a few. I had the opportunity to hear real life advice from the women who have been there. As an entrepreneur and ambitious female, I found the entire itinerary to be extremely beneficial. The last speaker was Maria Shriver. I can honestly say that I didn't know much about her however she amongst many other presenters that day have now made a difference in my life.

Overall, Glamour did an amazing job with the Summit. They kept the event intimate, only a couple hundred women, which gave everyone that attended a chance to actually interact with the speakers. At no point in time did I feel like the magazine was holding the event to gain media attention or to make money on attendees. I genuinely felt that Glamour Editor, Cindi Leive wanted to unite and inspire women by bringing us together. Additionally, because the group was small, the speakers were able to chat with attendees, they even sat with us in the audience. The whole day, I felt that we were all equal which made my dream of becoming a stronger, more successful woman seem achievable.

I can't wait to attend next year! I look forward to inviting my fellow Girlboss friends! Thank you Glamour Magazine for making a difference!
